Visual Storytelling

Why I create

I believe that the images we see shape how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. My mission is to use photography to create a broader representation of people and ideas that I think are lacking in mainstream media. Using visual storytelling, I aim to create bold images that encourage people to always be their authentic selves.

More about Me

inspiration comes from many places

My work is inspired by my own experiences as a queer Chicana, from the experiences of those I care about, and from the various messages presented in media. My collaborative projects are often shaped by those who I'm working with and are guided by a united goal to share authentic narratives that will broaden the way people are seen, and that will change perceptions or offer insight to the different experiences we all have.
