Confidence Is...

"Confidence Is…" initially began as an extension of "Confidence Is Sexy-2016". I was so sad that project hadn't been shared and wanted to expand on it. When I asked people the question, 'what does confidence mean to you?' the answers went way beyond the idea of sexy and the project became about how everyday people express, embody, and experience Confidence. Because this is such a personal subject and varies from person to person the project has been extended into four volumes. This photographic essay is being compiled into a four-part self-publicized magazine. The magazine dives into the details of each set, sharing the inspiration behind them, the people they portray, and includes written articles expanding on topics such as transgender rights, the history of fat liberation, and the crown act.
