I remember when I started my career and annual family pictures would often consist of a session that was stressful and sometimes an experience dreaded by those involved. Parents would carefully choose their families outfits, doing all they could to ensure they were picture perfect for their session. They'd wait in a lobby with other anxious families only to have 10-15minutes with their photographer for photos of their family that would resemble the same poses, sets, and feeling as every other family waiting their turn. When I started M.Martinez Photo I wanted sessions to be natural, fun, and most importantly to reflect the unique bond a family shared. For me, being a photographer is more than snapping pretty pictures. It's about recording memories and moments that will be relived for generations to come. What story will be told alongside that photo? What memory will be sparked from that experience?

'A Family Moment' is a personalized one-hour family experience that's been curated to create authentic moments and memories reflected in photos unique to your family. Taking place at a premium location, this carefully chosen historic craftsman house will provide no less than three different settings both inside and out. The experience starts with a family activity designed to bring out each person's individual personality and connection, making this session unlike any other.

Availability for this exclusive event is limited to 7 reservations on October 14th & 15th. These brief experiences are ideal for families of 3-6 people.
