A Full Year

It's been an entire year since COVID-19 changed the world. Masks and social distancing have become the new normal, and as we begin to emerge into the world again health and safety remain at the forefront of our minds. I recognize that everyone's comfort level is different, and while some have been vaccinated, others are still waiting.

I've reached a point where I'm comfortable offering sessions, documenting events, and providing one on one photography lessons. As a registered teaching artist in the city of Portland, I became eligible to be vaccinated and on March 29th I received my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. I continue wearing a mask while going out and maintain social distancing regardless of this privilege. Going forward, consultations will continue to take place via Google Meet, a free online video chat program that will still allow us to casually figure out session details. A link to our meeting will be provided with the appointment details shortly after the consultation is booked. I'll also continue wearing a mask during sessions, regardless of the setting that we're in, & will have sanitizer at the ready for both you and I. The experience of portraits should be fun and memorable, so if there's something else I can do to ensure your comfort please let me know.
